Grants are for an unmet need for school OR an emergency situation that could place the student’s completion of the program at risk. Please note that assistance to students in the form of gas cards are given through the gas card application and not this application see Gas Card Application.

Grants may be used for purposes such as the following:

• Tuition
• Uniforms
• Equipment including, but not limited to kits and tools
• Books
• Testing and Certification Fees
• Living expenses including, but not limited to car repair or payment, medical expenses, utility service, housing costs, clothing/shoes, and childcare costs.

Award checks will be made payable to the school or vendor. No payment will be made directly to the student.
